Gawon said it decades ago, Again Northern youths say, "Nigeria must be one" - see how a crowd of Nothern youths in Kano wore on Igbo attires and chanted songs of unity and peace together with some peaceful Ibos.

This is  more or less to a stark contrast with conventional expectation, looking at the past years when Kano and other parts of Northern Nigeria where retaliatory attacks were carried out when ethnic clashes happened in the South East.

The group of these peaceful paraders were predominantly young teeming ‘primitive’ "almajiris" who are often the first suspects when an uprising happens.

According to news reports, it was a move by the Coalition of Northern Groups after answering the call of the Northern States Governors to maintain peaceful relations in spite of the tension occasioned by the standoff between IPOB and the Nigerian Army in Abia State.

Thinking from the past,  you wouldn't be able to really join the dots here...when ever there's uprising situation in east; Easthernans inhating in the North know exactly what to expect; and vice-verser...But this time is strange,  and sure! whatsover might have fueled such non-reciprocal reaction is indeed! Thoughful and "positive"... I think that Nigeria is growing pass her diference and intolerance. She refuses to give room, this time, for mockery from the world around...Bravo!
